Welcome Suzi McGowan

Suzi joins us Bookings Administrator. With a background in marketing and business management in the social enterprise sector and is passionate about inclusion. As a deaf person using Signed Lipspeaking and BSL, Suzi has a wealth of experience coordinating communication support.  

Suzi loves the outdoors and has worked to advocate greater inclusion for deaf people, particularly in rock climbing. In the past she co-founded Deaf Climbing UK, sat on the board of Sport England’s Inclusive Sport Fund, was a member of the Equity Steering Board for the British Mountaineering Council, and designed the UKs first adaptive climbing communication system. 

Nowadays, you’ll find her off the rocks and on the water on her paddleboard in North Wales.
