Specialist Learning for Lipspeakers, BSL Interpreters and Communication Support Professionals

Professional development plays an important role in strengthening deaf access across education, workplace, health, legal and community environments. Our Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programmes support Lipspeakers, BSL Interpreters, Interpreters for deafblind people, Notetakers, Speech to Text Reporters and Communication Support Workers to develop their competence and performance.

In 2021, following feedback from Language Service Professionals (LSPs), we delivered a series of  CPD sessions designed to deliver learning in bite-sized chunks.

Our ‘Lite Bite’ series are open to all communication professionals and offer a range of webinar sessions on a specific topic. All webinars are one-hour long and take place once a month.

This page brings together all LiteBites sessions and specialist CPD activity delivered by Lipspeaker UK and our partners. It will grow over time as new programmes are added.
