Our director Lesley was invited for a second year by Hampshire Police (PLOD) to give a presentation on lipspeaking.
This was a fantastic opportunity to showcase lipspeaking and explain the role of the professional lipspeaker.
Hampshire Police are leading the way in training their officers in British Sign Language (BSL), deaf awareness, deaf culture and now lipspeaking. The officers even had time to learn about the difficulty and skill involved in lipreading!
We can’t wait to go back and present again next year!
